Showing Good Cause To Terminate

A manager walks an employee through all the documentation of poor performance so the employee is not surprised if/when she is terminated. Although most employees are at-will employees, meaning they can be terminated without any reason, it's good practice and safest to document every instance of poor performance and communicate the issue to the employee so that person is not surprised if and when they are terminated.
